2. Who can use the site
Anyone can use the free parts of the site. To create an account or buy anything you must be 18 or older. Accounts are for parents, guardians and teachers. Children use the site through a grown-up's account and should not create their own.
3. Free and paid content
Some puzzles and one story are free for everyone. Everything else is paid for in one of two ways:
- A subscription, which opens every puzzle collection and every story for as long as it runs. Puzzle collections and stories are not sold on their own.
- Single purchases of 3D printable files, bought once and kept.
3D printable files are not part of the subscription; they are always bought one at a time. Every price is shown in South African rand before you pay, and all our prices are listed on What We Sell and Prices. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices.
3A. Subscription
- A subscription is paid monthly or yearly by card, through Paystack. It renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown when you joined, until you cancel. If the price changes, we will email you at least 30 days before your next payment.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancelling stops future payments; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. See the Cancellation Policy.
- If a renewal payment fails, Paystack tries again. If it still fails, the subscription ends at the end of the paid period.
- Families who cannot afford a subscription can ask for three free months. These give the same access for three months, with no card and no charge, and then simply end. A family may ask again when they end. We decide requests ourselves.
4. Paying
Payments are processed by Paystack, a licensed payment company. You can pay by card and by the other methods Paystack offers at checkout. We never see or store your full card number. Your purchase is confirmed once Paystack tells us the payment has succeeded, and we send a confirmation to your email address.
5. What you may do with what you buy
You may use our puzzles and stories with your own family, or with your own class if you are a teacher. You may not copy them for others, sell them, upload them to another website, or pass on your account to someone else.
3D printable files. When you buy a printable file you may print it as many times as you like for your own household, or your own class if you are a teacher, and give the printed objects to family and friends as presents. You may not sell the printed objects or use them in anything you sell, and you may not share, send, sell or upload the files, or a changed version of them. A copy of this licence comes with every download.
All puzzles, stories, pictures and designs on the site belong to us and are protected by copyright.
6. The Imagination Shop
The Imagination Shop sells files that you print at home on your own 3D printer; we do not post printed objects. You need a 3D printer, or access to one, to use them. The pictures and the 3D preview on each item show what the file prints. Printing results depend on your printer and material, so check every print for sharp edges before a child uses it.
7. Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel as set out in our Cancellation Policy, and get a refund as set out in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
8. Using the site fairly
Please do not try to get into parts of the site you have not paid for, interfere with how the site works, or copy content in bulk. We may suspend an account that does this.
9. Our responsibility
We work hard to keep the site available and the content accurate and suitable for children, but we cannot promise the site will never be unavailable. We are responsible for loss caused by our own negligence, and for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. Grown-ups remain responsible for supervising children's use of the internet, including this site.
10. Complaints
If something goes wrong, email us at hello@smallreasons.com. We will reply within 2 working days and aim to resolve the problem within 14 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the National Consumer Commission.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Changes do not affect anything you have already bought.
12. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
